Bella Vista Swim & Dive Updates for the Week of 4/13

Thank you all for making our annual Swimathon a success! We raised $3000 and the coaches were pied! Check out the photos (and add any additional) on Band in the album labeled ‘Pie A Coach’.

This Week in Swim (what we know so far, we will post in Band any updates from coaches):

Tuesday – AM practice at 6am due to CAASPP testing

Wednesday’s Meet at Vista Del Lago – there is a bus, more details coming in Band App

This Week in Dive:

Monday: Casa is coming to BV, Practice mock meet. We will practice at 3:30, the goal should be to practice your list for Tuesday!

Tuesday: April 14th @ Vista Del Lago, Folsom and Davis teams will attend. Starting again at 4:30, you will all have early dismissals at 3:00pm. Make sure to go home and have some food before and get prepared for the meet. The required dive is Reverses, so Monday we’ll have to lock in. (you can always dive exhibition, but it’s good preparation for Saturday).

Wednesday: Practice from 3:30 - 5:30 pm

Thursday: Practice from 2:00 - 4:00 pm

SATURDAY: Invitational with St. Francis, Jesuit, and CB, on April 18th @ at BV. It is an 11 dive meet, this is to practice for Championships and Sections. (you are able to dive exhibition, but the goal is to do all 11). It will be a very long day!

We’re estimating for schedule wise:

JV girls warm up 9:00-9:45

Competing 9:45-11:30ish

Varsity girls warm up 11:30 -12:15

Competing 12:15 -2:00

ALL BOYS warm up 2:00-2:45

Competing 2:45-4:30

I would love to have you guys on the pool deck at 10am to support your teammates if you are not one of our JV girls that will arrive before 9:00 to warmup and compete.

Both Tuesday and Saturday are already on DiveLive for those of you who want to get ahead and plan out your lists.
