Bella Vista Swim & Dive Updates for the Week of 2/23

This Week's Swim Schedule:

Monday: normal practice times 

Tuesday: Time trial warm ups 3:30pm. The meet should start by 4pm. 

Wednesday: normal practice times 

Thursday: Varsity Practice same, PM/JV practice is at 2:30pm 

Friday: Early dismissal for the Grizzly invitational is at 9am swimmers must go to zero and first period class to can participate. Swimmers arrive at Granite Bay High School by 9:30am. Warm-ups start at 9:40am. Meet starts at NOON. If you plan to be a spectator, please be aware that parking is very difficult. Consider lyft/uber or plan to walk a long distance if you can find a spot. More details are attached.

Saturday: Second Day Grizzly - Swimmers arrive at Granite Bay High School not later than 7:30am. Warm-ups start at 7:40am. Meet starts at 10am, parking will be better, but still be prepared for a walk.

Dive Practices this Week:

Monday - Wednesday 3:45 PM - 5:30 PM 

Thursday 2:45 PM - 4:00 PM 

Friday Practice 3:45 PM - 5:30 PM

Volunteers Needed

1. Senior Photos Assistant (Feb 26, 2:15pm, on campus) – Support photographer Coach Liv during senior banner photos. Prefer a non-senior parent. 

2. Hospitality Snack Planner – Organize and deliver snacks for home game volunteers on March 4 & 25, including Sr. Night (snacks provided to both teams). 

3. Swim Meet Announcer – Interested in announcing at home meets? Let us know! 4. Swim-a-Thon Helpers (April 9, 3:30pm, pool deck) – Assist with collecting prizes, the pasta bar, and decorating at our annual fundraiser. 

5. Record Board Lead – Help us restore our lost Aquatics record history! Document past and present records on MaxPreps, and help shape a modernized record board (the school is being repainted this summer). We currently have 4 records needing updates. Please contact any Aquatics Board member with questions or if interested in helping!
